Biblical marriage discipleship for ordinary couples.
Marriage Matters helps couples bring the gospel and the truth of Scripture into the habits, conflicts, expectations, responsibilities, and joys of married life.
Healthy marriages need more than crisis intervention.
Many couples receive meaningful help only after problems become severe. Marriage Matters takes a preventive and discipleship-focused approach: helping couples understand what Scripture teaches about the heart, sin, grace, confession, forgiveness, service, communication, covenant faithfulness, and life together.
The program is not a substitute for pastoral care, professional counseling, or appropriate intervention in situations involving abuse, danger, or serious mental-health needs. It is a structured discipleship resource designed to support couples and churches.
What couples work through
- Marriage through the lens of the gospel
- The heart beneath conflict and behavior
- Confession, repentance, grace, and forgiveness
- Communication and listening
- Service, affection, and covenant commitment
- Biblical roles, responsibilities, and mutual care
- Putting truth into practice between sessions
Designed to serve churches, not replace them.
Marriage Matters works best in relationship with the local church. Host churches may help with participant invitations, meeting space, childcare, volunteers, pastoral support, or follow-up relationships. RTM provides the curriculum, facilitation framework, and program support.
